Adj. Motion No. 01(121)/2015-M, notice given of by Senator Mohammad Azam Khan Swati, regarding the overall situation in context of the aftermath of current earth quake;

 

Adj. Motion No. 04(121)/2015-M, notice given of by Senator Sirajul Haq, regarding the destruction caused by the earth quake in Pakistan on 26th October, 2015;

CALLING ATTENTION NOTICE

 

4.      SENATOR KHALIDA PARVEEN, to draw attention of the Minister for  Law, Justice and Human Rights, to a matter of sufficient public importance regarding committal of suicide by a young girl in front of Police Station Saddar, Muzaffargarh, who was raped by police officials but was not given justice. 

 

MOTION

 

5.      SENATOR MIR ISRARULLAH KHAN ZEHRI, Chairman, Standing Committee on Petroleum and Natural Resources, to move that under sub-rule (1) of rule 194 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Senate, 2012, the time for presentation of reports of the Committee on the following issues be extended for a further period of thirty working days with effect from 2nd November, 2015, due to the reason that the proposal / discussion on the issues has been held by the sub-committee but the main committee is still to review / deliberate upon the decisions of the sub-committee:-

 

                   (i)      Motion (Under Rule 218) moved by Senator Saeed Ghani to discuss the issue of import of LNG in the country and the agreements made or proposed to be made in this regard; and

                    (ii)      Demand Nos. 7, 8, 10 and 11 of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government.

 

REPORT OF THE STANDING COMMITTEE - PRESENTATION OF:

 

6.      SENATOR MUHAMMAD JAVED ABBASI, Chairman, Standing Committee on Law, Justice and Human Rights, to present report of the Committee on the Bill to provide for the establishment of the Islamabad Subordinate Judiciary Service Tribunal [The Islamabad Subordinate Judiciary Service Tribunal Bill, 2015].

7.      SENATOR HIDAYAT ULLAH, Chairman, Standing Committee on Industries and Production, to move that under sub-rule (1) of rule 194 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Senate, 2012, the delay in presentation of report of the Committee on Starred Question No. 45, asked by Senator Muhammad Zahid Khan, on 16th September, 2011, regarding charging of extra amount at the time of delivery of Toyota vehicles by the Indus Motor Company, be condoned till today.

 

REPORT OF THE STANDING COMMITTEE - PRESENTATION OF:

 

8.      SENATOR HIDAYAT ULLAH, Chairman, Standing Committee on Industries and Production, to present report of the Committee on Starred Question No. 45, asked by Senator Muhammad Zahid Khan, on 16th September, 2011, regarding charging of extra amount at the time of delivery of Toyota vehicles by the Indus Motor Company.

ORDINANCES TO BE LAID

 

11.    MR. PERVAIZ RASHID, Minister for Law, Justice and Human Rights, to lay before the Senate the following Ordinances as required by clause (2) of Article 89 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan:-

 

(i)

The Foreigners (Amendment) Ordinance, 2015 (Ordinance No. XII of 2015).

 

(ii)

The National Database and Registration Authority (Amendment) Ordinance, 2015.

(Ordinance No. XIII of 2015.

 

 

CALLING ATTENTION NOTICE

 

12.    SENATOR MOHAMMAD AZAM KHAN SWATI, to draw attention of the Minister for Finance, Revenue, Economic Affairs, Statistics and Privatization, to a matter of sufficient public importance regarding unusual banking practice in Pakistan that allows a local bank to hold foreign funds for twenty one days with it even after transfer of funds.

 

DISCUSSION ON THE ADMITTED ADJOURNMENT MOTIONS 

 

13.    Discussion on the following admitted adjournment motions:-

 

(i)

Admitted adjournment motion moved by Senator Mohsin Aziz, on his behalf and on behalf of Senators Saeed Ghani, Ilyas Ahmad Bilour and Sheher Bano Sherry Rehman, on 16th September, 2015, regarding failure of OGRA in fixing sale price of LNG and other issues including LNG import price, inadequate regulatory provisions and other related matters; and

 

(ii)
