MOTION

 

2.      SHAIKH AFTAB AHMED, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs to move under rule 263 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Senate, 2012, that the requirement of rule 120 of the said Rules be dispensed with in order to take into consideration the Bill further to amend the Federal Public Service Commission Ordinance, 1977 [The Federal Public Service Commission (Amendment) Bill, 2014], as passed by the National Assembly.

3.      SHAIKH AFTAB AHMED Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs to move that the Bill further to amend the Federal Public Service Commission Ordinance, 1977 [The Federal Public Service Commission (Amendment) Bill, 2014], as passed by the National Assembly be taken into consideration.

                   “The House may discuss the privatization policy of the Government.”.

 

6.      Discussion on the following motion moved by Mr. Abdul Haseeb Khan on       10th March, 2014:-

 

“This House may discuss the overall condition of Health sector after devolution of the subject of Health to provinces in pursuance of 18th Amendment in the Constitution.”.

 

7.      Further discussion on the following motion moved by Mr. Muhammad Talha Mehmood on 10th March, 2014:-

 

“The House may discuss the overall performance of Pakistan International Airlines.”.

8.      MR. FARHATULLAH BABAR to move that this House may discuss the recent decision of the Government to reconstitute the National Security Council.

 

9.      MR. MUHAMMAD TALHA MEHMOOD to move that the House may discuss the overall performance of Pakistan Steel Mills with particular reference to losses being suffered by it.

 

10.    MR. FARHATULLAH BABAR to move that this House may discuss the organizational and administrative matters of Pakistan Olympic Association (POA).

 

11.    MR. MUHAMMAD TALHA MEHMOOD to move that the House may discuss Hajj Policy of the Government with particular reference to Hajj charges for the year 2013.

 

COMMENCED RESOLUTIONS

 

 

12.    Further consideration of the following resolution moved by Mr. Karim Ahmed Khawaja on 3rd February, 2014:-

 

“This House recommends that Charter of Democracy between Mohterma Benazir Shaheed and Mian Muhammad Nawaz Shareef be implemented especially Constitutional Court with equal number of Judges from all provinces may be established to decide the constitutional matters.”.

 

13.    Consideration of the following resolution moved by Mr. Afrasiab Khattak on his behalf and on behalf of Mr. Farhatullah Babar on  10th March, 2014:-

 

This House calls upon the Government to prepare and make public a workable plan for FATA to cleanse it of militant networks, provide compensation to the victims of militancy, relief or rehabilitation of IDPs and a massive programme for the     socio-economic uplift of the people.”.

 

CALLING ATTENTION NOTICE

 

14.    SENATORS AFRASIAB KHATTAK, MUHAMMAD ZAHID KHAN, HAJI MOHAMMAD ADEEL  AND ABDUL NABI BANGASH to draw attention of the Minister for Interior to a matter of sufficient public importance regarding the offer to the Taliban by Mr. Shaukat Yousafzai, Provincial Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, to establish their office in Peshawar.
