2.      MR. ABDUL HASEEB KHAN to move that the Bill to provide for the establishment of Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan [The Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan Bill, 2012], as reported by the Standing Committee, be taken into consideration at once.

 

3.      MR. ABDUL HASEEB KHAN to move that the Bill to provide for the establishment of Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan [The Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan Bill, 2012] be passed.

 

COMMENCED RESOLUTION

 

4.      Consideration of the following resolution moved by Mr. Shahi Syed on  30th April, 2012:-

 

 “This House recommends that the Government may take effective steps to deweaponize the city of Karachi in view of prevailing law and order situation in the city.”.

5.      MR. KARIM AHMED KHAWAJA to move the following resolution:-

 

“This House recommends that the Government may establish shelter houses for senior citizens.”.

 

6.      MRS. NUZHAT SADIQ to move the following resolution:-

 

“This House recommends that the Government may take immediate steps to carry out performance based financial audit of power distribution companies in the country.”.

 

 

7.      COL. (R) SYED TAHIR HUSSAIN MASHHADI to move the following resolution:-

“This House recommends that uniform curriculum may be introduced in all schools and colleges in the country.”.

 

8.      MR. MUHAMMAD TALHA MEHMOOD to move the following resolution:-

 

“The House recommends that water filtration plants may be installed in each city and village of the country to save the people from water borne diseases.”.

 

9.      COL. (R) SYED TAHIR HUSSAIN MASHHADI to move the following resolution:-

 

“This House recommends that the Government may take effective steps for provision of free education in the areas under the Federal Government.”.

10.    Further discussion on the following motion moved by Col. (R) Syed Tahir Hussain Mashhadi on his behalf and on behalf of Mr. Hamza on 6th September, 2012:-

 

“The House may discuss the law and order situation in the country with particular reference to target killings and sectarian violence in Balochistan, Karachi and Gilgit-Baltistan.”.

 

MOTIONS

11.    COL. (R) SYED TAHIR HUSSAIN MASHHADI to move that the House may discuss the existing public transport system in the country.

 

12.    MR. MUHAMMAD TALHA MEHMOOD to move that this House may discuss the affairs of Pakistan Railways with particular reference to its present financial position and the condition of its locomotives and other infrastructure.

 

13.    COL. (R) SYED TAHIR HUSSAIN MASHHADI to move that the House may discuss the situation arising out of supply of contaminated and polluted drinking water in the country.

 

14.    MR. MUHAMMAD TALHA MEHMOOD to move that the House may discuss the Foreign Policy of the Government with particular reference to Saudi Arabia.

 

15.    MR. MUHAMMAD TALHA MEHMOOD to move that the House may discuss the overall performance of OGDCL with particular reference to the discovery of petroleum and gas reservoirs in the country.
