(R) SYED TAHIR HUSSAIN MASHHADI, Chairman, Committee on Rules of Procedure and Privileges, to move that under              sub-rule (1) of rule 171 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Senate, 1988, the delay in presentation of report of the Committee on the Privilege Motion moved by Senator Shahid Hassan Bugti regarding the irresponsible attitude of PIA officials, be condoned till today.

LEGISLATIVE BUSINESS

 

7.      Clause-by-clause consideration of the Bill to give effect in Pakistan to the Conventions concerning international carriage by air known as the Montreal Convention for the Unification of Certain Rules for International Carriage by Air 1999 and consolidate the law and applicable international conventions in relation to international carriage by air [The Carriage by Air Bill, 2011].

8.      CHAUDHRY AHMED MUKHTAR, Minister for Defence, to move that the Bill to give effect in Pakistan to the Conventions concerning international carriage by air known as the Montreal Convention for the Unification of Certain Rules for International Carriage by Air 1999 and consolidate the law and applicable international conventions in relation to international carriage by air [The Carriage by Air Bill, 2011] be passed.

 

9.      MR. A. REHMAN MALIK, Minister for Interior, to move that the Bill further to amend the National Database and Registration Authority Ordinance, 2000 [The National Database and Registration Authority (Amendment) Bill, 2010], as passed by the National Assembly, be taken into consideration.

CALL ATTENTION NOTICES

 

11.    SENATORS PROF. MUHAMMAD IBRAHIM KHAN AND MST. AFIA ZIA to draw attention of the Minister-Incharge of Cabinet Secretariat to a matter of sufficient public importance regarding the out break of dengue virus effecting thousands of people in the country.

 

12.    SENATOR MUHAMMAD AZAM KHAN SWATI to draw attention of the Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs to a matter of sufficient public importance regarding the alleged failure of the Government to provide for service structure and other privileges of the members of Election Commission of Pakistan.
