5.      MIAN RAZA RABBANI to move that the Bill further to amend the Service Tribunals Act, 1973 [The Service Tribunals (Amendment) Bill, 2007], as reported by the Standing Committee, be taken into consideration at once.

 

6.      MIAN RAZA RABBANI to move that the Bill further to amend the Service Tribunals Act, 1973 [The Service Tribunals (Amendment) Bill, 2007] be passed.

 

7.      MIAN RAZA RABBANI to move that the Bill to repeal the Removal from Service (Special Powers) Ordinance, 2000 [The Removal from Service (Special Powers) Ordinance, 2000 (Repeal) Bill, 2009], as reported by the Standing Committee, be taken into consideration at once.

“This House recommends that the loans written off by the Government Departments, Banks and Financial Institutions so far may be recovered immediately.”.           

 

15.    Discussion on the following resolution moved by Mr. Muhammad Talha Mahmood on 5th October, 2009:-

 

 

“The House recommends that water filtration plants may be installed in each city and village of the country to save the people from water borne diseases.”. 

 

R E S O L U T I O N S

 

16.    Mr. Muhammad Ali Durrani to move the following resolution:-

 

“This House recommends that effective steps be taken for development of Bahawalpur.”.       

 

17.    MR. WASIM SAJJAd to move the following resolution:-

 

“This House resolves that 11th August be celebrated every year as International Tolerance Day in Pakistan and outside to commemorate and propagate the message of the Quaid-e-Azam of peace, tolerance and goodwill between all religions, cultures and communities as contained in his speech of that day.”. 

 

18.    Begum Najma Hameed to move the following resolution:-

 

“This House recommends that minimum basic pay of Government employees be fixed @ Rs.25000/- per month.”. 

 

19.    HAFIZ RASHID AhmAD to move the following resolution:-

 

“This House recommends that the Government may take effective steps to control obscenity and vulgarity on Pakistani TV channels.”. 

 

20.    DR. MUHAMMAD ISMAIL BULEDI to move the following resolution:-        

 

“This House recommends that effective measures be taken by the Government for use of Urdu as an official language and for other purposes on priority basis.”. 

 

ADJOURNMENT MOTION

 

 

21.    Further discussion on the admitted Adjournment Motion moved by Mian Raza Rabbani and Mr. Jan Muhammad Khan Jamali on 11th January, 2010, regarding issuance of new set of screening guidelines by U.S. subjecting Pakistani passengers to special scrutiny.
