Senator Fida Muhammad is a businessman and politician by profession. He hails from Malakand district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and had been District Nazim of Malakand from 2005 to 2009. He contested the General Eelections of 2013 for National Assembly Constituency NA-35. Currently he is General Secretary of PTI (Malakand Region). He became Member of the Senate of Pakistan on General seat from the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and sworn in as Senator on 12th March 2018 for six-year term 2018-2024. He was elected Chairman Standing Committee on Power on 15th May, 2018. He is member of the Senate Committees on Information Technology & Telecommunication, Communication, Aviation and Problems of Less Developed Areas. He is actively participated in charitable and assistance activities during natural catastrophes in the country. He takes pride in being a politician because it has provided him the opportunity to strive for the rights and welfare of the people of Pakistan.
