Founder President of the Sahiwal Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SWCCI), Ms. Humaira Bukhari, called on Ms. Misbah Khar, Advisor to the Chairman Senate of Pakistan and Ambassador to the Inter-Parliamentary Speakers' Conference (ISC), in Islamabad.
The meeting focused on the vital role of women-led enterprises in Pakistan's economic development and the importance of creating an enabling environment for women entrepreneurs. Both sides exchanged views on strengthening women's economic participation, promoting entrepreneurship, and enhancing institutional support for women-owned businesses across the country.
Ms. Humaira Bukhari highlighted the contributions of the Sahiwal Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry in empowering women through business facilitation, entrepreneurial training, networking opportunities, capacity-building initiatives, and advocacy for women-friendly economic policies. She emphasized that the Chamber has been working to encourage women to become active contributors to the national economy by supporting innovation, skill development, and sustainable business growth.
