Event Title: Message of the Deputy Chairman Senate, Syedal Khan, on the 88th Death Anniversary of Allama Muhammad Iqbal

Deputy Chairman Senate, Syedal Khan, in his message on the occasion of the 88th death anniversary of Poet of the East and Thinker of Pakistan, Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal (RA), stated that Allama Iqbal remains a great intellectual asset for the Muslims of the subcontinent, whose poetry and philosophy continue to guide nations even today. He said that through his visionary thought, Allama Iqbal illuminated the darkness of subjugation with the light of hope and instilled in Muslims a sense of identity and purpose.
 
The Deputy Chairman Senate further said that the principles of selfhood, conviction, and action emphasized in Iqbal’s teachings serve as a guiding light for today’s youth. He stressed that the younger generation must understand Iqbal’s message and harness their potential in order to play an active role in the development of the country and the nation.
 
Syedal Khan stated that Allama Iqbal envisioned a society founded on justice, equality, and human dignity. He emphasized that in the present circumstances, it is imperative to translate Iqbal’s ideas into practical life so that a strong, sovereign, and prosperous state can be built. He added that national institutions bear the responsibility to reflect Iqbal’s philosophy in their policies and actions, and that promoting unity, harmony, and national cohesion requires guidance from Iqbal’s thought.
 
In concluding his message, the Deputy Chairman Senate said that as a nation, we must renew our resolve to incorporate the teachings of Allama Iqbal into both our collective and individual lives. He prayed that Allah Almighty grants us the ability to understand and act upon Iqbal’s message.
