Deputy Chairman Senate Syedal Khan Meets DG NADRA Balochistan, Deputy Commissioner Quetta, and Secretary Local Government Balochistan
Deputy Chairman Senate Syedal Khan held separate meetings at his residence with Director General NADRA Balochistan Muhammad Kashif Iqbal, Deputy Commissioner Quetta Saad Bin Asad, and Secretary Local Government Balochistan Mir Abdul Rauf Baloch. The meetings focused on matters relating to public services, institutional performance, and socio-economic development in Balochistan, particularly in Quetta.
During the discussions, issues related to public facilitation at NADRA offices, the provision of modern services, and the improvement of NADRA’s performance in the province were reviewed in detail.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Chairman Senate Syedal Khan stated that NADRA is a vital national institution that plays a key role in strengthening trust between the state and citizens through the timely issuance of identity documents. He emphasized the need to further improve and expand NADRA’s services in remote and underdeveloped areas of Balochistan so that people do not face difficulties in obtaining identity cards and other essential documents.
He stressed that the introduction of modern facilities and advanced technology in NADRA offices across Balochistan is essential, particularly in remote regions, to ensure that citizens there receive the same level of services available in major cities. He noted that access to modern technology would significantly help integrate people from underdeveloped areas into the national development process.
During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Quetta Saad Bin Asad briefed the Deputy Chairman Senate on the overall law and order situation in the city and informed him about measures being taken by the district administration to address public issues. He highlighted that the district administration is actively working to improve public services through enhanced coordination among government institutions while ensuring the maintenance of peace and order in the city.
Deputy Chairman Senate Syedal Khan further remarked that sustainable development in Balochistan depends on strengthening education, promoting modern technology, and ensuring an efficient administrative system. He underscored the importance of providing better educational and skill-development opportunities to the youth so they can play a meaningful role in the country’s progress and prosperity.
On the occasion, Secretary Local Government Balochistan Mir Abdul Rauf Baloch briefed the Deputy Chairman Senate on initiatives being taken to strengthen the local government system and improve the delivery of public services across the province. He stated that the provision of basic facilities through local government institutions remains a top priority of the government. Efforts are being made to further enhance services such as sanitation, clean drinking water, road infrastructure, and other civic amenities throughout the province.
Concluding the meetings, Deputy Chairman Senate Syedal Khan reaffirmed his commitment to working with all relevant institutions to ensure the provision of basic facilities, the promotion of education, and the strengthening of modern institutional systems for the people of Balochistan.
