3.      SENATORS OSMAN SAIFULLAH KHAN AND SEHAR KAMRAN, to  draw attention of the Minister for Science and Technology, to a matter of sufficient public importance regarding postponement of the OIC summit on Science and Technology which was scheduled to be held in Islamabad from 9th to 11th November, 2015.

 

MOTION

[Under Rule 194(1)]

 

4.      SENATOR SAJJAD HUSSAIN TURI, Chairman, Standing Committee on National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination, to move that under  sub-rule (1) of rule 194 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Senate, 2012, the time for presentation of  report of the Committee on a Private Member’s Bill titled “The Islamabad Mandatory Vaccination and Protection of Health Workers Bill, 2015” introduced by Senator Ayesha Raza Farooq in the Senate on 13th April, 2015, be extended for a further period of thirty working days with effect from 6th November, 2015, with condonation of the intervening period from 21st July, 2015 to 5th November, 2015, as a special case, for the reasons to be explained in the House.

 

MOTION

5.      SENATOR KARIM AHMED KHAWAJA to move that under sub-rule (1) of rule 196 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Senate, 2012, the report of the Special Committee on the issue of lapse of various foreign scholarships offered by different countries for the students of Pakistan, raised during zero hour by Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed, on 8th July, 2015, which was presented in the House on 7th October, 2015, be considered and adopted.

 

CALLING ATTENTION NOTICE

 

6.      SENATOR SALEEM MANDVIWALA, to draw attention of the Minister for Finance, Revenue, Economic Affairs, Statistics and Privatization, to a matter of sufficient public importance regarding non-payment of salaries to the employees of Pakistan Steel Mills for the last two months and non-payment of gratuity to the retired employees of Pakistan Steel Mills since 2013.
