3.      Admissibility of the following Adjournment Motions will be determined:-

Adj. Motion No. 01(118)/2015-M, notice given of by Senators Saeed Ghani, Saleem Mandviwala, Taj Haider and Sassui Palijo, regarding recurrent breakdown (4 times in a weak) of electricity in Karachi;

 

(ii)

Adj. Motion No. 02(118)/2015-M, notice given of by Senator Saeed Ghani, regarding disconnection of gas of Pakistan Steel Mills by Sui Southern Gas Company;       

 

(iii)

Adj. Motion No. 03(118)/2015-M, notice given of by Senator Sitara Ayaz, regarding the demolition of Kachi Abadi of       Sector I-11, Islamabad and alleged thrashing of the residents by the Islamabad Police and Capital Development Authority;

 

(iv)

CALLING ATTENTION NOTICE

 

4.      SENATOR HAFIZ HAMDULLAH to draw attention of the Minister for Information and Broadcasting to a matter of sufficient public importance regarding collection of TV fee through electricity bills even from mosques.

5.      ENGR. KHURRAM DASTGIR KHAN, Minister for Commerce, to move that the Bill to amend the Safeguard Measures Ordinance, 2002 [The Safeguard Measures (Amendment) Bill, 2015], as reported by the Standing Committee, be taken into consideration at once.

 

6.      ENGR. KHURRAM DASTGIR KHAN, Minister for Commerce, to move that the Bill to amend the Safeguard Measures Ordinance, 2002 [The Safeguard Measures (Amendment) Bill, 2015] be passed.

 

7.      ENGR. KHURRAM DASTGIR KHAN, Minister for Commerce, to move that the Bill to reform and repeal the Countervailing Ordinance, 2001 [The Countervailing Duties Bill, 2015], as reported by the Standing Committee, be taken into consideration at once.

 

8.      ENGR. KHURRAM DASTGIR KHAN, Minister for Commerce, to move that the Bill to reform and repeal the Countervailing Ordinance, 2001 [The Countervailing Duties Bill, 2015] be passed.

CALLING ATTENTION NOTICE

 

13.    SENATOR SEHAR KAMRAN to draw attention of the Adviser to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs to a matter of sufficient public importance regarding non mentioning of Kashmir dispute and Indian covert activities in the joint statement issued after the recent meeting of the Prime Minister of Pakistan with the Prime Minister of India held at Ufa, Russia.

 

DISCUSSION ON ADMITTED ADJOURNMENT MOTION

 
14.   Discussion on the admitted adjournment motion moved by Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed on 8th July, 2015, regarding proposed conversion of 1400 acre land of National Agricultural Research Centre by the CDA into residential/commercial plots.
