8. SYEDA
SUGHRA IMAM to move that the Bill further to amend the Pakistan Penal Code, 1860 and the
Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898 [The Anti-Honour
Killings Laws (Criminal Laws Amendment) Bill, 2014], as reported by
the Standing Committee, be taken into consideration at once.
9. SYEDA
SUGHRA IMAM to move that the Bill further to amend the Pakistan Penal Code, 1860 and the
Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898 [The Anti-Honour
Killings Laws (Criminal Laws Amendment) Bill, 2014] be passed.
10. MR.
FARHATULLAH BABAR to move that the Bill to provide for the prevention of
and protection of Pakistani citizens and of all other persons for the time
being in Pakistan from all acts of torture, custodial death and custodial rape [The Torture,
Custodial Death and Custodial Rape (Prevention and Punishment) Bill, 2014], as
reported by the Standing Committee, be taken into consideration at once.
11. MR.
FARHATULLAH BABAR to move that the Bill to provide for the prevention of
and protection of Pakistani citizens and of all other persons for the time
being in Pakistan from all acts of torture, custodial death and custodial

passed.
16. Further
discussion on the following motion moved by Haji Mohammad Adeel on 5th
January, 2015:-
“This
House may discuss the issue of non-payment of net hydel
profits to the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in line with AGN Kazi formula and Arbitration Award of 2006.”.

SAIFULLAH MAGSI to move that the House may discuss the situation
arising out of supply of contaminated water in

SEHAR KAMRAN to move that the House may discuss the education policy of
the Government with particular reference to provision of free education to
the children upto the age of 16 as provided in the

MUHAMMAD TALHA MEHMOOD to move that the House may discuss the overall
performance of CDA with particular reference to removal of encroachments in
commercial and residential areas in

“This House recommends
that the Government should provide subsidy on electricity tariff in areas in
the country where water is being lifted through electrical motors for
irrigation purposes.”.

recommends that the Government should decrease taxes / duties on petroleum
products in order to facilitate the citizens / consumers in the country.”.

AMENDMENT TO THE SENATE RULES
(Under Rule 277)
27. MR. MUHAMMAD ZAHID
KHAN to seek leave under sub-rule (4) of rule 277 of the Rules of Procedure
and Conduct of Business in the Senate, 2012, to move that in sub-rule (1) of
rule 198, the words “in consultation with the Minister concerned”, occurring at
the end, shall be omitted.
