3.         DR. ZAHEER-UD-DIN BABAR AWAN, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, to move that under rule 236 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Senate, 1988, the requirement of rule 87 of the said Rules be dispensed with in order to move that the Bill further to amend the Pakistan Penal Code, 1860 and the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898 [The Criminal Law (Amendment) Bill, 2009], as reported by the Standing Committee, be taken into consideration at once.

4.         DR. ZAHEER-UD-DIN BABAR AWAN, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, to move that the Bill further to amend the Pakistan Penal Code, 1860 and the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898 [The Criminal Law (Amendment) Bill, 2009], as reported by the Standing Committee, be taken into consideration at once.

 

5.         DR. ZAHEER-UD-DIN BABAR AWAN, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, to move that the Bill further to amend the Pakistan Penal Code, 1860 and the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898 [The Criminal Law (Amendment) Bill, 2009] be passed.

 

PAPERS TO BE LAID

 

6.         MR. SHAUKAT FAYAZ AHMED TARIN, Minister for Finance, Revenue, Economic Affairs and Statistics, to lay before the Senate the First Quarterly Report for the        year 2009-2010 of the Central Board of Directors of State Bank of Pakistan on the state of Pakistan’s Economy, as required under section 9A (f) of the State Bank of Pakistan Act, 1956.

ADJOURNMENT MOTION

 

 

7.       Further discussion on the admitted Adjournment Motion moved by Mian Raza Rabbani and Mr. Jan Muhammad Khan Jamali on 11th January, 2010, regarding issuance of new set of screening guidelines by U.S. subjecting Pakistani passengers to special scrutiny.
