The Senate has been actively engaged in bilateral and multilateral Parliamentary relations. The bilateral relations are established with other parliaments at the regional and international levels. At the multilateral level the Senate and the National Assembly are members of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA).
